with a lovely 11lb 3ozcommon carp caught in Pond One.
Nice fish for November!
Two new species have
been introduced into both ponds this year. They are Golden Orfe and Golden
Tench. These are prolific feeders and are a really colourful addition
to the excellent fish already residing in Paradise! |
Pond One
Day tickets available on the bank
Autumn is here and things are beginning to slow
down. The Carp are responding well to all bottom baits. Warmer days provide
excellent sport with floating baits. Silver fish are still feeding well. Trickle
feeding loose feed (pellet or maggot) every 2-3 minutes is the key. Its no use bringing the bait and then taking it
home with you, or chucking it all in at the end of the session! Maggot
& pellet for
best results. Use large hook baits and plenty of loose feed to latch into
the larger specimens.
